Just Tell Them We're Survivors

I have never felt more free than when I'm on an open road with a good mix cd.

Three years ago I was planning an epic, month-long, cross-country road trip for the summer of 2010. I was saving my pennies, I plotted my path...and then, I got sick- really, really sick. (You can read more about that journey here)

That trip has been simmering on the back burner ever since. I can't tell you how many days I was sick in bed charting out Google maps, and dreaming of just jumping in my car and doing it! Now that the dust is starting to settle with my health and finances, that wild horse in my soul is aching to run, and I'm stirring that pot, again.

Stay tuned for more on that road trip, that I have titled "27!"
